Jones manufacturing was the first with a hydraulic
opening tub (we had one on our first unit in 1960), the first
with an electronic governor, and the first with a Hydrafork.
From the single 14" discharge auger, to the rubber lagged,
top-drive elevator, no other grinder has the features,
capacity, and durability of the Jones Mighty Giant. 

New products and new features can sometimes lead to
new problems.  At Jones Manufacturing, we maintain a
relationship with local operators to be sure that all features
and designs are field-tested in the same environment our
customers face.  This same relationship gives us important
feedback so that new designs and innovations are the result
of experience, not marketing hype.

The Mighty Giant Line

Included in our line of Mighty Giant Hay Grinders are the
Model 2000 PTO-Driven grinder and the Model 3000 and
Model 3500 Power-Unit Style Grinders for smaller to mid-
sized operations, as well as the Series 4000 grinders and
the Model 5000 Hydrafork for mid-sized and larger
operations.  These units are used throughout the United
States by farmers, ranchers, backgrounding lots,
commercial feedyards, and custom grinding operations. 
The Mighty Giant line is capable of grinding virtually any
type of forage or grain, wet or dry.

The Mighty Giant Hay Grinder boasts and impressive list of
standard features.  All Mighty Giants feature a hydraulic tilt
tub, steel discharge auger and top drive elevators, as well
as heavy-duty commercial-use construction.  Our powered
machines are equipped with new, industrial big block
Caterpillar engines with Cat's 5yr/6,000 hr. Extended
Service Coverage.  Each Mighty Giant is built with an
oversized high capacity radiator, as well as a severe-duty
air filter system with Dynaclone tube precleaning and a
centrifugal type precleaner.  Also standard is an industrial
3-plate clutch and a direct, heavy-duty drive line.

All Jones Mighty Giant Hay Grinders are of commercial,
heavy-duty quality, designed and built for the high capacity
